How the Insta-perfect standard is putting girls’ health at risk


Women everywhere are scrolling through Instagram looking at the standard of the perfect kids, women, and men ー and it’s sending them into a downward spiral mentally. Instagram is the most detrimental social media platform, according to a new study conducted by The Royal Society for Public Health and the Youth Health Movement. The study examined Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube and Instagram to figure out which would have a positive and/or negative effect on participants’ health.
