Backgrounder : Every Manitoba community to benefit from federal Gas Tax Fund transfer

In July, the Government of Canada delivered the first of two annual $34.3-million federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) installments to Manitoba. In total, the province will receive over $68.7 million this year. The funding now available to support community infrastructure projects flows through the provincial government to all Manitoba communities on a per capita basis.
